If you have an idea for a sweater we are happy to create it as long as it is not someone’s signature piece. For size, you can measure a sweater or garment you own which is roughly the fit of the garment you’d like created… with the garment lying flat, measure it following the A, B, C D, E,,F etc. of the ” fitted sweater” diagram ( even though the garment may not be “fitted”… it can be loose, but these are the measurements I would need…. or….. if the garment is a loose fitted drop shoulder one then use the “loose fitted” diagram. The cost will be determined by the complexity of the garment and the yarn used…. once I have the measureme
For an oversized or loose fitting garment we need the following measurements.
A = Wingspan i.e. with arms outstretched like an aeroplane, measure from knuckle of fist, along arm, across back, along the other arm to the same point of knuckle on other hand
B = Total length
C = Garment width
D = Underarm to bottom of garment If it is a fitted sweater we need the following:
A = Total length
B = Garment width at chest/bust
C = Shoulder to shoulder
D = Underarm to bottom of garment
E = Garment widstth at waist
F = From point C to cuff
G = Underarm to same cuff as F
H = Circumference at bicep
I = Circumference at wrist
J = Opening of neck at back (width)
K = Depth of neck (usually only for V or plunge necks)
